CURATION
“Sous dôme” is a festival dedicated to immersive works intended to be projected at 360°. This first edition, prepared in collaboration with the 36 degrees association and Jérémy Oury, is devoted to immersive digital arts.
Cité des sciences et de l'industrie showcases geodesic digital creations and offers a unique immersive experience at the crossroads between art, science and technology.
During a weekend, insiders and the general public will be able to discover a program dedicated to these works in 360°.

Etat-Six
of NAME
Etat-Six invites the viewer to discover the fascinating world of dreams. Inspired by the book "Le Sixième Sommeil" by Bernard Werber, this experience offers a journey through the phases of sleep towards a sixth state, still unknown to all.
Symbiosis between art, science and fiction, the work retraces this dreamlike journey through an immersive audiovisual exploration, leaving room for free interpretation and collective reflection.

L'Alter Monde

L'Alter-Monde is the evocation of a cybernetic garden.
This project tries to develop an imaginary reflecting a symbiosis between the human being and a rediscovered state of nature.
The main themes addressed are the figures of the cyborg (human who has received transplants of mechanical or electronic parts), bio-technological mutations and questions about a possible exit from the Anthropocene.

Round tables
In Paris, despite a number of actors and a growing interest, no festival dedicated to digital geodesic creations has yet taken place.
So much so that French artists are forced to find opportunities abroad in order to present their work, despite the strong appetite of the French public. Two round tables will be held on Saturday March 18 to establish the state of immersive digital creation in the light of the actors of this new form of creation.

PERFORMANCE INTERACTIVE
Conte d'un futur commun
Sur scène, une conteuse, un musicien et un illustrateur.
Conte d'un futur commun choisit d'explorer de manière collective un futur désirable et les manières d'y parvenir. Spectacle participatif, c'est à l'aide de son smartphone et de sa voix que le public va participer à l'histoire à la manière d'un jeu vidéo. Cette histoire se construit comme une improvisation collective, où chaque participant peut à tout moment la faire dévier ou bifurquer, la bousculer, l'augmenter, la détourner.

PANORAMA

PANORAMA is a 360° audiovisual performance.
A hybrid material is formed and deformed by sound, generating immersive and hypnotic digital landscapes. In search of computer synesthesia, TS/CN questions the autonomy of a digital work by redefining the place ofe the computer at the heart of the production system.

Créations d'oeuvres immersives sous dôme
Présentation dimanche 24 mars lors de la séance de 17h au Planétarium.
Encadrés par l’artiste nouveaux médias, Kelit Raynaud, une quinzaine d’étudiants du DNMADE Num 3 de l’École Estienne produiront en moins de deux jours des œuvres immersives pour dôme.
Les séquences réalisées seront présentées lors de la séance du dimanche 24 mars à 17h.
L'École Estienne sera par ailleurs bien représentée tout au long de Festival.
Durant un an, les étudiants de Master 2 DCN et Licence 3 DNMADE ont travaillé sur des séquences immersives. Ce travail "Passages sous dômes" vous accueillera au début de chaque session en salle.

Compositions, orchestration & mixage : Penser la musique dans un environnement immersif
Présentation samedi 23 mars à 16h avec le compositeur Ghislain Leclant
Lieu : Studio son du Carrefour numérique, en accès libre dans la limite des places disponibles.
Quels sont les enjeux de la composition en milieu immersif ?
Y a-t-il des spécificités propres à la prise de son en 5.1 ?
À partir d'une séquence audiovisuelle d'un des films du Planétarium, cet atelier illustrera le mouvement du son dans l’espace et l'importance du mixage.
Ghislain Leclant a écrit une vingtaine de partitions pour l’écran tant en fiction qu’en documentaire.
Entre la France et le Canada, son travail se situe au croisement de la musique orchestrale et électronique ainsi que des nouveaux medias.
Il a notamment signé des créations Moment Factory, National Geographic et la Société des Arts Technologiques, pour les planétariums Montréal et de Paris (Les Lumières de la nuit & le ciel au Moyen Âge).
